Northern California Artist Edward Lee Wolverton Sr. / Born October 08,1952 in Richmond California. I have been creating many forms of art here in the Silicon Valley for the past twenty-five years. I wanted to give you an overall view of my work here on Fine Art America. Being in 'Thomas Cole-land', at the gateway of the Kaaterskill clove, I see this piece as a most contemporary extension of the 'Sublime' that Cole found in nature, in the wilderness, to be specific. The palette and the energy in this wonderful oil is reflective of much of the 'American' schools of art (Hudson River School and Abstract Expressionism come to mind). Personally, I can smell the oil oozing; and the light of course is sublime! Very appreciated collection for many reasons! -tdp
