Artist's Description
This is a very large painting of Pikes Peak. I've been working on this painting off and on for several months. I stumbled upon this view off the trail near Rampart Range Road. The memory of that spot has been haunting me. I started with a literal translation but moved to include so much more. I relied on my memory of that day and everything I saw , felt, smelled and sensed. I think this is one of my best paintings ever.

I worked hard on this one. I dreamed of it at night. I wanted it to represent the essence of the place. It took a long time to create. I wonder how I'll feel when it sells? It is really a part of me. Thanks for your kind words.
