Inspired by the "community bowl project" of Port Townsend, WA: these oranges were placed in one of the hand painted ceramic bowls I purchased from this project. Ceramic artists donate their time creating the bowls, and community members and visitors to their local art shows decorate the bowls. All proceeds are donated to their community food bank. I was happy to purchase a set of bowls last time I was there, and painted some before that.
