I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

This tote bag is gorgeous! I saw a picture of it and had to have it. The colors are just beautiful. The size is better than I expected, because it's larger than I had envisioned it. It is practical and functional as well as beautiful. I'm very happy with this purchase.
This is a study of the texture of an old and venerable tree. The bark is the skin of a tree, and this is such interesting bark. I used some HDR effects to accent the textural qualities.
I took the picture with a Canon T4i and a Tamron macro lens (90mm) in our yard in Green Lane, Pennsylvania, USA, April28, 2015.
I always wanted to try photography, and my retirement offered an opportunity to do just that. The natural world is my first love. I hope the images serve as a window into the natural world many of you don't have the chance to see. Learning is food for the mind and soul. Nothing is ever harmed in the picture-taking process, but some things that wander into our home (like spiders) are carefully removed from the house after they serve as "models"....
