The title of this piece is "The Defiant". It shows a young king or prince at the head of an army leading them into battle in defense of his lands. A detailed view of his armor shows that it has seen much action and is about to see more. I start with a rough pencil sketch that I scan and import into Photoshop which is where I render to final piece.

He presently works for RedPont Media Group Inc. as Art Director in the corporate division. While at RedPoint he has served as Art Director for West magazine and Calgary Inc. While at CalgaryInc he received an award for Best Cover design for the December 2007 issue from the Alberta Magazine Publishers Association. In 2008 CalgaryInc received Honourable Mention for the Best Single Issue for its 2008 Top 40 Under 40 issue from the National Magazine Awards.
