The town of Mancos, Colorado is one of my favorites along the San Juan Scenic Byway on Colorado's Western Slope. There are typically many Plein Aire Artist's out with their easels, however, this was a chilly but sunny day.
The Town of Mancos is a Statutory Town located in Montezuma County, Colorado, United States. The town population was 1336 at the 2010 United States Census.

Janice Rae Pariza was born in Youngstown, Ohio in 1955 and raised in Ohio, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Nova Scotia and Connecticut. She has been painting since the age of eight.
