This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Artist's Description
When the dams overflow, the water rushes to the sea and merges with the salty waters of Bass Strait. The mouth of the river is the dumping ground of the Forest Industries destruction, pollution and the after-math of the clear felling and soil erosion. The history of these rivers are also lost as the government has cut the funding five years ago for the water watch groups to keep an eye on the quality pollution problems of the rivers in the whole of Tasmania. It there is no history documented, then there is no way of knowing the health of the river. Forest Industries must be accountable for the change in water quality and loss of Landscape.

Sarah, you are doing some amazing things with glass. I wish I could see it in person -- sculpture just doesn't work as well in photos. How deep are these pieces? Seems like 3-4". It is exciting when artists make mindblowing work, but make it about real life issues, with layers of meaning, as opposed to just making something pretty. Thank you for sharing.
Sarah King replied:
Thank you for your comment...they a from 1 to 6 layers thick..never more than 1" So glad you enjoyed my work. Cheers!
