The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. The Grand Junction Canal at Stoke Bruen lock, Northamptonshire, UK. Work began on the canal, which links London with the Midlands and the rest of the canal network, in 1793. Prior to the advent of rail, canals were the major means of distributing goods in Britain. The Grand Junction Canal was completed in 1805 and became an important industrial route, with towns on the canal thriving. Locks were used to enable the canal to negotiate inclines. Taken from a book published in 1819.
