We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?
Artist's Description
Once parked at the winter parking lot, I geared up and began the two and half mile snowshoe trek up to this spot. In typical fashion, much like Rocky Mountain National Park, the winds in the Winter months are very unpredictable.
This particular morning, the winds were blowing at 15 mph, gusting up to 30mph, so it took some good luck and fortune to have a short timeframe in which to create this image.
The roll cloud behind and above the Indian Peaks is a testament to the winds that morning.
