Artist's Description
The Journey of Wilbert and David Crouse-
The man is a friend, Wilbert, "Now" and the boy is his son David, "Back Then" or about 50 years ago. I love that over-sized red cowboy hat! What a cute kid! The Journey isn't true... David grew up to be something other than a farmer and they sold the family farm, pictured in the background. I haven't spent much time in Rural America and while researching for this painting I realized how important family is on the farm- very cool. So "NOT" today... or big city for that matter... The entire family working together as one unit, as their parents did and their parents, parents did.
About Cindy D Chinn
Cindy has been fortunate to make a good living by providing creative services her entire adult life. From Murals to Animation, to Sculpture, to Slot Machine Design, to Teaching... the list goes on and on... pretty much anything she sets her mind to will get done. Right now, she is setting her mind to painting on stretched canvas for the first time since college... we won't say how long ago that was but we will suggest that it has been MANY MANY years and gray hairs ago. Aside from being a natural talent, Cindy also gives professional and personal service to her clients. Her goal is to make the client happy and not force the client to accept 'her' vision. The design process is important, and consulting with the client will help everyone...
