Wow - wonderful. When I saw the image before reading your title, I thought of 'Le Petit Prince' in a world of confusing adults. A line from the book makes me think of you and your photography. On ne voit bien qu'avec le cur. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux. You DO see clearly with you heart and you make that which is invisible, clear to us too. Thank you. :-) Maggie

That caps it all! Great facial expression of the boy! So we learn: You only should wear a crown to be majestic!

No, Michel, it's not just luck ... it's depth of vision. VF

The king who is in the story and the shadow of another king who is telling the story....just awesome! Enjoyed my read of this interesting piece! I find it always intriguing your story telling with photography, Michel!

Michel Verhoef replied:

Thanks Darla ! Your queenlike words make me smile......always ! :)

I was just lucky here....the boy was gazing....and I was there...thank you :)))

Ohhh...thanks Jane...i will do even more my best now for you to keep up with your expectations :)))) lol

Such an unusual capture Michel. I feel as mesmerized by the image as the boy is by his thoughts! In this moment, everyone seems so seriously focused. Of course,I always notice the brilliance of your lighting and deep shadows. I have come to expect it every time!!! And you never disappoint. Just love your work. v/f

This is just at a fairground and the boy was mesmerized by his thoughts....that's all I think to tell Kathleen K....I like the K

What a great photo!! I like the way the boy stands out so much and the darkness of the rest of the photo. This is just great. What is the story behind this? kk fv

I love the focus on the boy with light and other people veiled by the dark tones... King for himself :-) Racy scene full of details and different personalities, Michel, love the shadows including photographer's one :-)

Michel Verhoef replied:

Thanks a lot dear Jenny..I was just lucky again :)

Michel, I love how the king turned his attention to you, to balance off everyone else's looking to the left...makes it SO intense and directed! and the shadow in the lower right...talk about a balancing act, wow!

Michel Verhoef replied:

Thanks a lot dear Marlene, you sure know how to analyze :)
