Lyric, thank you once again. I appreciate your featuring my work so much...absolutely love the group "Out Of The Ordinary". My work fits right in.

Beautiful painting such a nostalgic mystical scene!

Randol Burns replied:

Hi Nikki, thank you so much for your comment. Now that a bit of time has passed since painting The Leper's Rattles I can see the mystical aspect you mention.

This is an incredible work of art Randy. I really don't have words.Your description says it all. I can only tell you that I think you are a master of painting mood and using symbols to reveal hidden depths ,feelings, compassion, sometimes awe. Wonderful.v/f

Randol Burns replied:

Hi Jane, I so hoped one day someone like you would see this piece and feel what you have felt about it with its symbols and feeling. I want to convey those depths of human caring, suffering and compassion through my landscapes. Thank you for letting me know I have succeeded.

Randol Burns replied:

Very nice Emery! Wow! Impressive. Love your work.

I have noticed that i hadent v/f on this one Randy; so i am doing it NOW....Still love it !!!!

Randol Burns replied:

Oh, Jean, what would I do without your sincere support of my work. That means the world to me. Thank you so much my friend for the v.

My favorite work of art for this day, Randy - 11/3/12. Amazing and unusual story and beautiful painting! Perfect placement of the leper's shadow and nicely organized elements throughout. Very nice job...voted and favored.

Randol Burns replied:

Your words give me incentive to push forward.

Thank for the fav Anne!

Well you certainly have acheived what you set out to accomplish Randy.....and I love a painting with a nice story to back it up with..............nice touch with the ambiguous shadow .........sometimes Less is More !!!................lovely............Jean !!!

Ahhh; Randy love the solitude informativeness and delicatness of the brush on this one.....Not so keen on its concept though...What people had to endure of times gone by.....? Sad...!!!

Randol Burns replied:

Jean, Thank you so, so much. It is amazing what people had to endure, especially in the old days. When I learned about the leper's rattle I felt such sympathy for the lepers I had to paint this. Tried to make the surroundings subtle, yet beautiful in a down-toned way.
