Designers of steeples, churches and buildings were created by some very talented people. My father was one of those people who designed commercially as well as homes. Talent that is often forgotten or not put in context with the arts. We are surrounded by creativity and art daily. Our job is to recognize it, celebrate it and surround ourselves with more of it.

This art work was created from one of my photographs and converted digitally to color, and creative expression. I entitled it The Lights On, because it appears to be with light filling the steeple and flowing over.

A grandmother and mother who were always creating crafts or wonderful projects of some sort. She earned a Distinguished Young Artist Award at age 10 and has always played in the realm of creativity in many forms.
