I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

This tote bag is gorgeous! I saw a picture of it and had to have it. The colors are just beautiful. The size is better than I expected, because it's larger than I had envisioned it. It is practical and functional as well as beautiful. I'm very happy with this purchase.
Designed by Bertel Thorvaldsen, a Danish sculptor, and completed in 1821, the Lion of Lucerne is a memorial to commemorate the Swiss Guards who lost their lives in 1792 during the French Revolution. Sculpted in an old stone quarry, this dying lion with a broken spear in its side is one of the most moving sculptures I have ever witnessed.
Mary Lee Dereske's images celebrate nature, travel and life. She has exhibited in New Mexico and Washington state, and her work has sold internationally. A native daughter of Michigan, she now lives in New Mexico. All images copyrighted by Mary Lee Dereske and may not be reproduced or otherwise used without explicit permission of the artist.
