James Brown was still alive the day this was painted. It was exhibited in the First Annual
James Brown Festival and one Best of Show. His daughter Deanna told me it had to
be the best she had seen. I was proud to have met him.
About Wanda Dansereau
I have been a professional fine arts painter and sculptor for the last 50 years. Over this time I have accomplished many of my life goals that I set for my art. I am a realist, in as much as I paint & sculpt as near to the original as I can.I am self taught, although in my life I have met so many of the greats in art, and I have learned so much from each. I moved to the CSRA 8 years ago, and have accomplished a lot in that short of time, in a new place. Won the Best of Show, Senators Award at the James Brown Festival. This was a portrait of JB.
