This one makes me want to be in the same room with it to get a better look close up...or even run my fingers over it (I promise not to if I ever see it in a gallery, lol!) I love the depth and dimension (not to mention the incredible COLORS)....which are definitely true to the title. I have only just gotten started looking at your paintings Bruce, but it is very much like seeing every emotion exploding out onto your canvas's...or cardboard! The more I look at this one, the more I see and the more I love it!

How can I reply to such a response, Rory? Thank you for the detailed response, and I'll read this again among a few others that I do when I especially need reassurance and encouragement -- as does everyone sometime does when wanting to create art, now matter what the medium. My wish for your continued achievements and that you take well deserved pride in your repertoire already. Peace, etc., Bruce

Dear Bruce, The Many Facets of Fear is a deep, interesting, philosophically rich painting which means to me a viewing into our minds with relation to our fears as humans. The colors go together well and the composition is striking. To feel fear and to express it on canvas, perhaps, will be one of my future paintings. I need to express it. YOUR FAN, Anne

Thank you for the deep AND extensive comment and compliment, Anne-Elizabeth. Peace, etc., Your Fan, too! Bruce

The madonna-like figure is beautiful and goes so well with the title. A great artwork, Bruce!

Once again, I had to come back to several for want of saving my precious thanks. I appreciate your insightful comment, Anneke, on the title and the reference of possible similarity. Peace, etc., Bruce

very interesting fear))))personally I would better describe it like an orgasm)(sorry)

I wholly agree with you, Yana. But the same title may also fit "fear." And don't be sorry! See comment above here, where I think the person means she doesn't think the title fits. Meanwhile, sorry it took me so long to answer. I hope you will write again. Peace, etc., Bruce Combs
