The Memories that Could Have Been by Angela A Stanton. This painting is about my father. I was only 16 years old when he died and I had no chance to grow an appreciation for who he was. Now in my old age (older than he was when he died) I realize what a caring loving person he must have been only teenagers are usually blind to that. If I had one wish to come true, is to have a chat with my father again. This would be a perfect spot. Not sure what made me miss my father today--this is not near any of his days for memories nor any of mine. Only he popped into this image today that was only meant to be a tree. No longer. It is my dad now.
