Today, I went on a photo op journey around the backyard. In a nearby planter, I noticed a new elephant ear leaf about to uncurl. All the other giant elephant ear leaves were out in full. Big, green, and mighty. The contrast between the new leaf about to uncurl and the older leaves proudly on display - I felt - told an interesting story. The black and white effect helps to convey the story in a stark, dramatic way.
