Another image taken in Antelope Canyon--this one from one of the canyons in the Upper Antelope Canyon. The collection of rocks in the middle looks--to me--like an old man sitting and resting, perhaps thinking about the days ahead. The colors are stunning and natural light is used only for this photograph. To get this photo, one literally has to stand on the side of the wall because the space is so tiny--the size of the "old man" is misleading relative to the space around it. Barely a person can fit next to the "old man". The canyons themselves are in the north part of Arizona, close to the border with Utah and just about at level with the Grand Canyon but north of the well known South Rim. Also south of these canyons is Sedona with its red rocks and mountains, amazing creeks and canyons and vegetation. Antelope Canyon is near the city of Page from which you can take special tours with the Navajo Nation Parks and their licensed groups. To photograph at these canyons and be allowed to po...
