Along the coast of northern California are many locations where you can see the boulders and cliffs that are absorbing the rough waves of the Pacific ocean. Near the Mendocino area, the cliffs are particularly beautiful as are the many rock formations extending into the ocean. At dusk, the water can be slowed down photographically and appear soft and misty.
From landscapes to seascapes, animals to abstracts, I love trying to grab the moment with photography. It still amazes me that we can capture a moment in time and have it to look at forever. I love how photography has made me so much more aware of everything around me, patterns, light, expression...things I never paid much attention to before. Now everything I see I think about in a different perspective. Photography has also been a great avenue to meet new friends who are traveling the same path and sharing adventures with them or learning from their own excursions. The longer I am in photography, the more I am reaching for the unique, and trying to stretch my imagination to see past what is typical and try to make the mundane have...
