I love my new bag. It is so beautiful. I work in schools with children who have hearing loss and they love my bag. I get to share information about hearing loss with teachers in the school when they ask about the lovely picture. I also tell them about Ms. Soares. Thanks for sharing her story. It makes the picture even more unique. I had a difficult time choosing from all the options just related to hearing but fell in love with all of her offerings on this site. The quality of the bag is great also.

I absolutely LOVE Monica's artwork and it's extra special to be able to carry her artwork around with me wherever I go. Quality of the bag is good, too!

I’m very pleased with my Back2bike bag from artist John Kurtyka. The bag is high quality so it holds my library books quite securely. And since I’m a bike rider, I love the picture, so unique, people notice it and comment so I tell them about this website and the unique works of this artist.

Artist's Description

The Electric train called mules that keep the ships straight side to side while traversing the locks in the Panama canal. Wikipedia: From the outset, it was considered an important safety feature that ships be guided though the lock chambers by electric locomotives, known as mulas (mules, named after the animals traditionally used to cross the isthmus of Panama), running on the lock walls. These mules are used for side-to-side and braking control in the locks, which are narrow relative to modern-day ships. Forward motion into and through the locks is actually provided by the ship's engines and not the mules. A ship approaching the locks first pulls up to the guide wall, which is an extension of the centre wall of the locks, where it is taken under control by the mules on the wall before proceeding into the lock. As it moves forward, additional lines are taken to mules on the other wall. With large ships, there are two mules on each side at the bow, and two each side at the sternᦙ...

About Rene Triay Photography

Greetings to all. My name is Rene Triay. As a retired airline pilot that is now on Terra Firma, I have chosen to continue pursuing my passion in photography dating back to my high school years. I live in beautiful, sunny and picturesque South Florida. More specifically, down in the Florida Keys... Due to my close proximity to the ocean, I'm fascinated by nature, nautical themes, the sky, tropical flowers, marine life, beautiful sunsets, architectural marvel, art deco and colors, yes-bright vivid colors. With all the natural beauty that surrounds us, through my photography, I hope the critics are fascinated to the point of wishing to travel to our beautiful state and to of course proudly display my art-work in their home, office, or...
