Madeline -- just noticed "the window eye" -- nice touch!

...Great creation Madeline!! You catch NYC so well - terrific work. I, for many years, lived on 66St - Madison Ave and owned restaurants on 46th - Second Ave and 52nd St - Second Ave. The Upper Eastsde was "my" part of Manhattan: although I went galivanting all over town each night -- I guess NYC will always be in my blood. I wanted something quirky for the bathroom, and this acrylic portrait was exactly right. Very nice work on the frame and matting, too.

I love this print. I was drawn to it immediately. Right now it graces the top of my filing cabinet as there is no place to display it properly. Absolutely gorgeous.

About Madeline Ellis

At 12 yrs. old I was fascinated by this little box called a camera. If you pressed the button and brought the negatives to a drugstore, one week later photos would be returned in its' place. I found that if I put my negatives in a thing called an enlarger a shadow would appear on photo paper. When I dropped that paper in some chemicals, a picture would emerge. Wow! I was hooked and so I studied at the International Center Of Photography. Now, I take a photo, plug my camera into my computer and the photo I just took pops up on my screen. Times have changed. I have had four one woman shows and one group show in Manhattan. It was an...
