The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).
All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. The elements of the piece simply came together in my effort to produce an image that indicates the importance of water in our world for an upcoming show. This year I read the book 'Radium Girls' and discovered that in the early 1900's radium was used to coat watch dials to make them glow in the dark. Young women used to put paintbrushes between their lips to make the pointed tip, then dipped into radium prior to painting. As it turns out, most died of radiation poisoning in a most horrible way. Radium was also put in medicines for 'health' which ultimately caused organ destruction and death. So the skull and dead tree are more than just symbolic.
