This tote bag is gorgeous! I saw a picture of it and had to have it. The colors are just beautiful. The size is better than I expected, because it's larger than I had envisioned it. It is practical and functional as well as beautiful. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I love this bag so much! It is well made; the image is sharp and the colors rich.
In this typical southern wetlands scene, the Florida Woodstork, otherwise known as a Preacher Bird, awaits his flock. This is mostly an imaginary scene but I began it en plein air with the deep background consisting mostly of palm trees on Merritt Island. It even gets a little cold here and since I am a whimp, I continued the painting at my easel inside my home once it became uncomfortably cool. It is an attempt at creating a winter holiday scene in nature in Florida. Of course, we don't have snow here, so I hoped to give the feeling of a church with the canopy of the trees. Since the stork is sometimes called a preacher bird, I thought that I would pose it readying himself for a sermon. His flock, a variety of common water birds, include ibis...both glossy and white, herons and egrets. They are gathering beneath the boughs to hear the sermon.
I experimented with a variety of paints and methods in this painting. I used fibers in much of the spanish moss coated with modeling...
Although born in upstate New York, I grew up mostly in Nevada and California. The fabulous panoramic views of the far west inspired me to begin painting and photographing it’s beauty. I’ve lived in various areas in the states and in Europe but always had the desire to express through painting and photography. While living in the Mediterranean, I was especially influenced by the great Renaissance art and the chiaroscuro work of Caravaggio. I began with oils, worked with a wide variety of mediums but now mostly work in acrylic, oils, and photography. I studied mostly engineering in college but ended up with a degree in Technical Illustration, one in Psychology after several moves and colleges, one in Art Education. My experience as a...
