This painting makes me happy!! The colors are really fun and, like his other pieces I own, expertly painted. I want to live in this cottage and walk into the ocean. Ordered it on canvas - well executed. Thank you for the smiles!

Artist's Description
The Lottie Cooper was launched in Manitowoc, WI, 30 Mar 1876 and was named for the daughter of one of the original owners. The vessel was 131 feet long, 27 feet wide, 9 feet in depth, and measured 250 gross tons. She represents a historic period when thousands of steam vessels worked the dangerous waters of the Great Lakes.

The city of Sheboygan dredged the marina to remove the wreckage and later decided to display the Lottie Cooper.
