1947 Dodge Dump Truck

The Boswell Dairy Farm is one of the best know farms in Greene County and operated continually for more than 70 years. The 1947 Dodge Dump Truck that has found a shaded resting place under these Oak trees was purchased from Curtis Sand just down Hwy 15 from here. This was the first dump truck owned by Curtis Sand and then sold to the Boswell's where is saw many more years of faithful service.
Mr. Boswell told me the brakes went out on the old truck and this is where it stopped. Since my photography of this old 1947 Dodge Dump truck several people have come forward and offer to buy the rusty Dodge but Hot Boswell told me, "it's not going anywhere"!

This beautiful farm scene with colors of blue in the sky, green grass, rusty truck, red fuel tanks and white buildings, combine to make an image to beautify either an office or home and be enjoyed in timeless beauty.
