The fox has always been my spirit animal, and this particular piece by Nic really captures the essence of that connection. Ironically, about four years ago I purchased a painting that could have been The Fox and the Forest's brother from another mother. That painting now hangs in my bedroom as a companion to this work. She is described as having "a head full of ideas, imaginary places, and quirky creatures . . ." The Fox and the Forest is a perfect combination of the imaginary and the quirky.
This vintage American motorcycle is a Scout from 1929. The 101 Scout, made from 1928 to 1931, has been called the best motorcycle Indian ever made. A second line of Scouts, with heavier frames, was introduced in 1932 alongside the Standard Scout, which replaced the 101 Scout and shared its frame with the Chief and the Four.
For many years now I have been very fortunate to photograph some beautiful classic motorcycles and cars across the UK.
