The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Frogs are always good photo material (once you've managed to locate them, a lot more challenging than hearing them!) This one keeping a boldly striped eye out for insects for dinner is a flat headed bromeliad tree frog (Osteocephalus planiceps), and was taken in the Amazon forests of Madidi National Park in Bolivia.
