Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

Perfect gift for my college niece!!! They love to have their towels for spring break! Highly recommend. I recently bought round beach towels at a major retailer. The quality from fineartamerica far surpasses it! The artwork on the towel is vibrant and attractive. Love it!

Artist's Description

This photo painting shows the ship Balclutha at San Francisco's Maritime Park, and I added a black border to jazz it up. It looks really great as a framed print. Balclutha is a three masted, steel-hulled, square rigged ship and was built in 1886 in Glasgow, Scotland to carry a variety of cargo. She has been around Cape Horn, at the tip of South America, seventeen times. She has traveled not only from the UK to the U.S. but also to New Zealand and Australia as well as Alaska. The ship carried a crew of 26 officers and men and it took this many to handle the complex rigging on board the vessel. It ran aground off Alaska and sustained damage in the early twentieth century but it was repaired and placed back in service. The vessel is in very good condition and is located in the Maritime National Park at the Hyde Street Pier in the Fisherman's Wharf area of San Francisco. History from: FEATU...
