Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Sandhill Cranes battle for love in a Delta, Colorado Cornfield, this guy reminded me of a 'streaker' running through the field!
Cranes are the oldest living species of bird with Miocene fossil evidence dating back 10 million years. Sandhill cranes are one of 15 species of cranes throughout the world. The cranes that visit and breed in the Yampa Valley are part of the Rocky Mountain Population (RMP) of Greater Sandhill Cranes. Flocks of sandhills that migrate through eastern Colorado and Nebraska along the Platte River are primarily composed of the sub-species known as the Lesser Sandhill Crane. The RMP of Greater Sandhill Cranes spend the winter in the Uncompahgre Valley in west-central Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and northern Mexico. They primarily breed in northern Colorado, northeastern Utah, western Wyoming, eastern Idaho, western Montana, and into southern Alberta and Saskatchewan, Canada.

Janice Rae Pariza was born in Youngstown, Ohio in 1955 and raised in Ohio, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Nova Scotia and Connecticut. She has been painting since the age of eight. A self taught painter, she supplemented her natural abilities by studying privately for 14 years. A realist in the medium oil, her subject matter has varied throughout the years. She has expanded into the realm of the Abstract and Impressionism.
