Hi Murphy, Ive followed your work since February, when I joined FAA. I see you have posted a few new pieces in the past few months. I find your work extremely well done and enjoy most of your subjects you have chosen to sketch. I respect your abilities and style as an artist. Ive often thought about sketching celebrity portraits but feared doing so because of image copyright laws. Id like your intake on this subject if possible. Also, I like the development of your signature. Ive fought over the years on a unique signature design but havent come up with one I like, so I just sign my work the same way I sign anything else. Im not much of a conversationalist but would like to share thoughts and comments with you in the future. Pete Piatt

Though many pictures deserved comment this was my choice as the mysterious one, the comment deserving one. First of all it is awesome, so many stories betwixt string and paw. The string is repeated in the sparkle of the balloon. What mystery you ask...well, will the little tyke make a knot in the string? Will he pull it the wrong way and burst the balloon requiring him to seek post traumatic shock treatment? Will he get so tangled up he'll race around with a balloon chasing him? Will he simply get bored and let it go watching it float out his pen to the freedom he is denied? Who gave him this new toy, did he reach through the bars and snatch it from an oggling child? All mystery questions aside..... this is such an eye grabbing picture, after it, I liked no other.
