I painted this for the Roseville Tuesday Night Groups 74th Anniversary party. I got so many comments about it that I thought I should share it with all my alcoholic brothers and sisters. I call it 'The Struggle' as getting sober for me was a struggle at times but now, after 16 years, I celebrate my sobriety and thank God every day for Alcoholics Anonymous.

I am a retired animation artist trained in the traditional hand drawn style of cartooning. I've been in the animation industry since 1966 when I got a job at the Disney Studios and was lucky enough to work on "The Jungle Book" and the first "Winney The Pooh And The Blustery Day". Since then I've worked on hundreds of TV cartoon shows for Hanna-Barbera, Filmation (He-Man, The Archies, Star Trek and others), MGM (Pink Panther), Universal Studios (Earthworm Jim) and The Cartoon Network (Cow And Chicken and I.M.Weasel) and many more.
