See special priced extra-large canvas on Chuck's official site. A well kept garden is itself, a work of art. In the painting, "The Sweet Garden" I have sought to celebrate the beauty and enjoyment of gardens and gardening. The stone cottage serves as fitting backdrop to the well manicured and cultivated garden rows. As any gardener can attest, animals also like to enjoy the bounty of the garden and sometimes seek to help themselves to the harvest. I wanted to include a little humor along those lines, so as the brown horse helps himself to tasting a hydrangea, the other two horses in the yard look on with curious and convicting eyes. All-in-all this image is meant to be a vibrant depiction of the harmony and serenity of a lovely garden landscape.
