This was a gift for my sister who absolutely loves the picture (but unfortunately hates the frame I chose). Tom Gari is a friend of mine and I've purchased from him in the past.....he never disappoints!

I purchased this photo because it looked just like the section of the falls my husband and our friends climbed. I hung it on a wall with 3 of our photos of us climbing these falls. Love it. I've purchased from Fine Art America before and the quality is excellent from the photo to the frame and backing. Highly recommend!

When I ordered this framed poster, I did not notice that the frame cut off the writing on the top of the poster. It looks awful and it was a special gift. I am very disappointed in the finished product and can't find a way to contact customer service. When I fill out the form with a question about this it keeps telling me it can't be submitted. So I guess I wasted my money and disappointed my son.

Artist's Description

Sydney harbour just before sunset during the autumn months of 2007. Painted from a famous landmark called Lady Macquarrie's Chair - which forms a headland and reserve around the Opera House complex. This section of the harbor originally formed part of Sydney Cove and earliest settlement of mainland Australia. April in Sydney can produce almost any type of weather but on this day I was lucky to have fast moving clouds which raced across the harbor. Clouds like these create a sense of urgency in a scene and also atmospheric depth. This view was resolved just prior to the onset of crimsons in the sky to announce the end of day. The brilliant light reflected on the water and moisture in the air resulted in an interesting composition which highlights the character features of this well loved city that lies on the other side of the world.
