Known to the colonizers as Mount McLoughlin (elevation 9,493 ft or 2,893 m). This photo was taken from the top of the upper Table Rock in Medford, OR, US. Table Rocks were sacred to the indigenous Takelma people. They called this mountain Mal-sr or Alwwilamchaldis. The mountain was also sacred to the Shasta and the Modoc.
