Tezz J replied:

Thanks so much Arlene - not sure what V/F means - but it sounds nice lol :D

This has a scifi or fantasy sense. It's like the life forms are crystalline.

Tezz J replied:

Thanks Gregory - really nice of you to look in....encaustics seem to have that sci fi appearance......It's the merging of the wax colours that does it...... :)

This work is just splendid!

Tezz J replied:

Thanks so much Anna......really kind of you :)

nice one!!

Tezz J replied:

Thanks Heatehr - much appreciated :)

Fascinating! I've never seen an encaustic in real life. It sounds complicated, but I'd love to give it a go. The textures in this are gorgeous. So you live in Devon?

Tezz J replied:

Hi Frances.....yes, have you lived here too? Thanks so much - it's like no other medium really, as all the equipment and techniques are unique to encaustics. Mind you, I do use tiny wire brushes too, in much the same way as painting normally.....

WOW!!! This is SOOO Unique & BEAUTIFUL!!! Love it!!! & I love Your Brother's Description of Encaustics! ;O)

Tezz J replied:

Hey thanks for your lovely comment real life these pics do look more vibrant and textured, as the wax reflects light :)

beautiful painting...just so magical....I absolutely love it....!!!

Tezz J replied:

Thanks Amjad - and thanks also for taking the time to look in :)

Thank you so much Tezz for your comment .. It is greatly appreciated .. I love your art work .. I do not know anything about encaustic painting .. it really is very beautiful... Karin

Tezz J replied:

Thanks so much your work too....was just looking at your fallen leaf pretty. Where in UK did you live? With melt wax on tiny irons and other tools that look like soldering irons, when it's melted you paint onto special non-absorbent card...... My brother says it's like trying to paint watercolours, but with boxing gloves on lol.....

Beautiful painting, great work.

Tezz J replied:
