Just came back from the wonderful Greek island, Crete. Me and my husband just spend there a wonderful vacation ( in June 2013 ).
I was mesmerized by the beauty and the charm of this Mediterranean island.
Crete is the largest of the Greek islands and Chania is the second largest city of Crete.
The Venetian harbour of Chania was build by the Venetians between 1320 and 1356. The harbor was used for commerce and also to control the Sea of Crete against pirates. Venetian harbor with its lighthouse is the trademark of the city of Chania.

Ohhh how lovely hotel you had dear Ana ,to see early morning the fishmen going out for the fishing also ,I would come around every day or nigth ,sometimes going out with the boats in the early morning as I was booked 2 times for join as an freelance photographer to shoot photos for the boat owner and his tourist . I look forward to see some of your paints when you get to this Ana ,you problably started the paints i can imagine ,Fav ones again .OHH These life light colors..........makes me alive inside me .

Hi Ana ,aaye lovely to see the Chania Harbor again,I lived 5 min walks from here June 2009 just down by the water ,Huge Fav / Features Gosh I am wild with these Greek Life Colours.
