Fantastic rock formations in the Vermillion Cliffs in northern Arizona. The Vermillion Cliffs. Situated between Utah and Arizona this area has seen significant erosion from water and wind for thousands of years. The Navajo Nation today calls this area home. Most of the area is in the Vermillion Cliffs National Monument.
As a Realtor most of my life, I have taken hundreds of pictures of homes and buildings inside and out. After retiring I started watercolor painting, taking classes and studying that format, but found that photography was really my ambition. I live in Victoria B.C., but spend winters in Arizona. Driving a different route each time between British Columbia and Arizona, has given me the opportunity to experience the fantastic Pacific side of North America. My love of nature and hiking has made landscape photography a natural for me, but since joining the Victoria Camera Club I have been introduced to an amazing group of folks who are encouraging me to expand my horizons.
