This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Artist's Description
"The Way Life Should Be" was the state of Maine's motto for many years. It has since been replaced with the lackluster and I think rather moronic motto "Open For Business". I miss seeing the old motto on the highway signs when you enter the state.

Hello again Susan! I grew up in Minnesota, so I am quite familiar with the white stuff! When I taught up in the north-western corner of the state, in the Red River Valley, it was regularly 30 below zero, plus the wind coming down from Canada really dropped the temp. There was tons of snow one year. Brrr! I am sure your state is beautiful everywhere in the winter. Hope spring is on the way. Kirsten
Sue Capuano replied:
Spring is indeed on it's way Kirsten after the cold of winter we appreciate it all the more as you must surely know from your days in Minnesota! :-)

Hello Susan! Congratulations on being an Artist of the Week in the Old Masters Group. This b&w image is powerful, with wonderful tones. I especially like your description, as I was baffled by the title until you clarified it! I can see why someone with your sensitivity to words would be offended by the new motto. By the way, we really enjoyed our short time in Maine several years ago. The Park was especially lovely in all its green finery. f/v Kirsten
Sue Capuano replied:
Thanks Kirsten, You should really visit in winter to get a feel for the real Maine! :-)

WA photograph Sue Those trees seem to go on forever. v/f That motto is really lame isn't it! Like fingernails on a chalkboard whenever i see it. Reminds be of brothel. Best to ignore and it and pretend "The Way Life Should be " is now spelled that way.
Sue Capuano replied:
Exactly what I thought when I first heard it! Great minds as they say....... Thanks for comment and support! :-)

Absolutely love this photo so much....just gorgeous and wonderful and moody and perfect! Instant vote, fave, fb. Congrats on this image. Unfortunately, Maine dumbed down with it's new slogan to reflect it's all about the money.
Sue Capuano replied:
Thanks Lenore:-)! As far as the slogan goes dumbed is putting it mildly, but things are turning back around so there is hope for Maine yet!
Christine Burdine
