Kallstroemia grandiflora � Arizona Poppy
Common Names: Arizona Poppy, Arizona Caltrop, Mexican Poppy
Habitat: Desert, Upland. It grows in desert washes, along roadsides, and in sunny, open areas.
Flower Color: Golden orange, Golden yellow
Description: The flowers are up to 2 1/2 inches (6 cm) wide and have 5 petals with raised, orange veins and dark red-orange at the base of the petals. In favorable areas, the blooming plants can create large-scale wildflower displays.

African Daisy
Dimorphotheca aurantiaca (Asteraceae)
A hardy, spreading annual with daisy-like flowers. A native of South Africa, it has naturalized throughout the southwestern United States. Blooms are 2-4 inches across in brilliant shades of white, yellow, and orange. An excellent variety to sow in early spring, as it will produce extravagant color for weeks. Prefers full sun in well-drained soils.

The African daisy flowers are 1-1/2 inch wide flowers, which close at night, in the shade, and during cloud cover. The African daisy flowers are in shades of white, orange and yellow and apricot. Synonyms of African Daisy are: Dimorphotheca integrifolia, Dimorphotheca calendulacea, Dimorphotheca dentata, Dimorphotheca aurantiaca.
