Love them or hate them, either way they will find a way to steal your heart.
I know many consider them to be a pesty nuisance, but then there are those that can’t resist a face like this, myself included.
I dedicate this piece to the MPR Raccoon, also known as the UBS Raccoon, capturing the attention of the entire world by making a daring and rare ascent to the top of a downtown St. Paul skyscraper, the UBS Plaza, a 25-story office tower and St. Paul’s 15th-tallest building on June 12th, 2018.Within hours this daring raccoon became an internet sensation, with her determination and perseverance she scaled the surface to the roof, where she was lured into a live trap with some soft cat food and relocated, released on private residential property in the suburbs of the Twin Cities with permission from the owner, and after consultation with the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota.
I listened to MPR’s radio station The Current throughout this raccoons journey, and was surprised to hear how much attention one small creature could get by choosing where to explore!

I've rescued so many young and old raccoons that got themselves into precarious predicaments over the last 25 years, each one stole my heart a little, but the MPR Raccoon topped them all, wish I could have had a hand in that rescue too.I appreciate your fave and support!!
