I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

This tote bag is gorgeous! I saw a picture of it and had to have it. The colors are just beautiful. The size is better than I expected, because it's larger than I had envisioned it. It is practical and functional as well as beautiful. I'm very happy with this purchase.

For the last decade I have been working in mixed media painting from my studio in Portland, Oregon. I typically work with a beeswax and resin based based paint called encaustic. Encaustic is a wonderful vehicle for mixed media artworks, and I frequently integrate drawing and different kinds of natural fiber papers into my pieces. I make most of the paint I use myself. My art imagery moves back and forth between figurative and landscape. When using the figure, I'm often thinking about how a gesture or pose reflects a certain state of mind or view of the world.
