Description

I am fortunate to live nearby a breeding ground for the burrowing owls. In the spring I try and make several trips to their location after the babies are born. I am fascinated with their eyes and their demeanor. These are babies before they have learned to fly, They live underground (hence the name burrowing). They come out as the sun comes up but when it gets hot they scoot back to their holes. I could watch them all day.
