Thank you Susan. A few years back, I laid out my palette and found out a bit by accident just how important it was to the paintings. I had forgotten just how important.

Beautiful painting Phil! I love the harmony of your palette and brushwork!

Thank you Richard

I am the artist who ordered these items. I was disappointed with the fleece blankets. The image printed crooked on 4 of the 5 blankets and the 'plush fleece' is very different from the plush fleece blankets I ordered previously. No where near as 'plush'. These blankets were unsellable. Also, one of the tapestries showed up with a thread that was pressed right into the fabric which made it unsellable as well. The reason I didn't ship these items back was due to the fact that by the time I received the order, there was insufficient time to return the order in time to meet the '30 day' from the date ordered deadline. This is the first time I've been disappointed with an order featuring my art by way of FAA. Sadly, it makes me hesitant to order again.

The sun was on my back and it was the second warm day of the spring of 2015. A group of turkey vultures soared by and I think they landed near the pioneer homestead. There seemed to be three of everything - threee white pines, threee turkey vultures, threee blue birds, threee honey beees that investigated my palette ... It made me think of the letter from Robert Genn which was republished the day that I did this painting ... He used threee Tom Thomson paintings to illustrate his thoughts.... and yes, why shouldn't there be three e's in threee?

About Phil Chadwick

Trained at Queens University as a nuclear physicist, Phil the Forecaster has been a professional meteorologist since 1976. Painting has however been his passion forever. For ten years, he studied under the late Mario Airomi, a famous Italian artist. Phil paints what he knows best: weather, nature, canoes and his family. There are not enough hours in the day to record the inspiration that abounds. Phil paints mainly en plein air striving for impressionistic realism. Something intangible and sometimes magical enters the art when one is actually out in the elements surrounded by inspiration. Bold colours and shapes can be found in the natural world if you only look. Phils art hangs in many private and corporate collections around the...
