This image taken from the pages of 17th, 18th and 19th century books digitized by Microsoft who then generously gifted the scanned images to the British Library, allowing the Library to release them back into the Public Domain to be used or remixed. I have selected some of these images and digitally restored the colors and the lines. The images were adjusted and brightened to make the images suitable for decorative display.
