We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?

I love this metal print. The picture is crisp and colors are clear. We live in the Detroit area and my husband used to sell vegetables at Ester Market when he was in college.
Artist's Description
This photo was taken at the summit of Grey Jay Peak, in Alaska's Chugach Mountains.
It always amazes me that mountain flowers can bloom and thrive in the almost barren rocks, surrounded by snow, glaciers, and mountain peaks in every direction! The afternoon this photo was taken, I think I actually rolled my sleeves up for a few minutes while recovering from the climb. Perhaps I was the only visitor to this remote mountain peak all this year, and maybe this was its warmest moment of the summer. It didn't last long. The flowers and I made the most of our sunny interlude! :-)
My best guess as to the flower identity is the One-Flowered Cinquefoil.
This image was captured in RAW format at full resolution with a Canon 5d Mk III camera, 16-35mm f/2.8 L II lens, handheld, 16mm, 1/80 sec, f/22, ISO 100, 23.2 MB, 3694x5542 px.

About Tim Newton
I am a lifelong Alaskan (except for a few years "outside") perpetually enthralled with Alaska's unique natural beauty. I carry a camera, lenses, and tripod about on frequent treks throughout the Alaska wilderness, often in the Chugach Mountains near my home. I am mostly drawn to conventional landscape photography - subject, light, composition, and color. Occasionally I'll get the opportune shot of wildlife as I trek about, and sometimes - but infrequently - I travel outside Alaska, where of course my camera accompanies me. :-) I am always updating images here from recent treks, and look forward to seeing you here again soon! Best wishes! Tim Newton
