Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).
All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

Artist's Description
This piece looks at the duality of the frock that women have worn for centuries for function and fashion. I'm interested in the way that the apron can both restrict women's roles as well as be tied to freedom of choice to work in the kitchen. The apron in this painting, created and owned by my husband's grandmother, has been featured in many of my paintings.
About Jennie Traill Schaeffer
Jennie Traill Schaeffer is a painter and teaching artist holding a BFA in painting and art education from Syracuse University. Schaeffer has an extensive exhibition history with both traditional and online galleries, and in 2012 earned her first acceptance into a show at the Noyes Museum. Her works have earned her publication by the New York Times, The Village Voice, OurHouse Magazine, NJSavvy Living, Sussex Journal, JerseyArts.com, and a Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation Scholarship. Schaeffer’s artistic pursuits have resulted in numerous private commissions, public art projects, and helped the revitalization of Newton, NJ, where she ran TraillWorks as a retail studio and art gallery for five years.
