Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Today I took a walk down the railway ties in Canmore, Alberta, Canada. Looking down at the ties, I reflected upon how they came to be under my feet, uniting my country. The CP Rail was built between 1881 and 1885 by thousands of navvies. On the BC side of the Rockies, the workers were Chinese coolies making between .75 to 1.25 a day to perform the most back-breaking and dangerous labour which amounted to practically slave labour. In 2006 the Canadian government formally apologized to the Chinese population in Canada for their treatment both during and following the construction of the CPR. Nice picture, but please be careful around railroad tracks. We're fond of saying "Expect a train on any track at any time" and modern locomotives can be exceptionally quiet. As photographers, we need to remember that people will often copy what we do, to try and learn a new technique. Again, it's a wonderful image, but please be careful.
