When I created this design, it immediately reminded me of some of the Native American artwork we saw on a trip to Ketchikan, Alaska a few years ago. There were many examples of Tlingit art all around Ketchikan. I especially liked the totem poles at the museum.

My chosen medium is digital. I am a self-taught artist that began sketching and painting at a very early age. Pencil drawing and oil painting were my favorites. The world of computers has allowed me to expand my creativity and explore new styles and approaches to my work. That does not mean that the computer is creating the artwork. I spend many, many hours on each painting to get the final results you see here. The computer is just another artist's tool that I have adopted. I have very eclectic tastes and like to try new methods. You will find drawings, watercolors, oils, fractals and 3d styles in my portfolio.
