All seams are double-stitched for added durability. Each tote bag is machine-washable in cold water and is printed on both sides using the same image.

I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

This tote bag is gorgeous! I saw a picture of it and had to have it. The colors are just beautiful. The size is better than I expected, because it's larger than I had envisioned it. It is practical and functional as well as beautiful. I'm very happy with this purchase.
Johanna was born in the Netherlands, but moved with her family to Canada, at a young age. She grew up in a European household that focused on the importance of art and music. She studied Fine Art and Design at the University of Calgary and received her Bachelor of Education degree in Fine Arts in 1977. Since then, Johanna has taught many award winning students in her studio located in Edmonton. She also always painted, exhibiting her work in several Canadian provinces and, more recently, in New York, Paris, and London. Johanna was recently named as one of the Top 60 Contemporary Artists by Art Tour International Magazine, New York.
